Key Responsibilities for the Kwik Kar Lube and Tune Technician
- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, battery replacements, and other routine maintenance tasks following kwik kar lube and tune service protocols.
- Inspect vehicles thoroughly to diagnose issues and recommend proper repairs or maintenance based on customer and technical needs.
- Maintain accurate service records and report findings to both customers and management with clarity and professionalism.
- Communicate effectively with customers to explain service details, provide maintenance advice, and support an outstanding customer experience.
- Ensure all tools, equipment, and workstations comply with safety regulations and company standards to promote a safe working environment.
- Stay updated with latest automotive service techniques and participate in ongoing training to enhance your expertise and performance.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum of 2 years experience in automotive maintenance and repair, preferably in a similar role like a Kwik Kar Lube and Tune Technician.
- Valid ASE certification or equivalent technical credentials in vehicle diagnostics and repair.
- Demonstrated proficiency in performing oil changes, fluid checks, filter replacements, and tune-ups.
- Strong mechanical skills with the ability to identify and resolve vehicle issues efficiently.
- Excellent customer service skills with clear communication and a professional demeanor.
- Preferred: Experience with Canadian automotive service standards and safety protocols.
- Preferred: Basic computer skills for documenting service records and inventory tracking.
