Teen Employment Coordinator

Key Responsibilities
- Manage Teen Employment Programs: Oversee ongoing teen employment initiatives to ensure they align with organizational goals and serve youth effectively. Implement improvements based on feedback and outcomes.
- Coordinate Outreach Efforts: Build relationships with schools, community organizations, and employers to promote teen employment opportunities and increase program participation.
- Facilitate Engagement: Act as a liaison between teens, employers, and internal teams to encourage participation and address challenges related to teen employment.
- Data Collection and Reporting: Track teen employment program metrics, prepare reports on progress and impact, and provide insights to stakeholders to inform strategy.
- Organize Training and Workshops: Plan and deliver sessions that prepare teens for employment, including resume workshops, interview preparation, and workplace readiness training.
Qualifications
- Experience coordinating teen employment or youth engagement programs, preferably within the Canadian context.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively connect with teens, partners, and employers.
- Understanding of Canadian employment laws and regulations affecting teen workers.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage deadlines.
- Ability to collect and analyze data for reporting purposes and program development.
- Post-secondary education in social sciences, education, business, or related field is preferred.
- Experience working within diverse communities and fostering inclusive work environments.
