Key Responsibilities

  • Source, attract, and engage qualified healthcare candidates aligned with hummingbird healthcare careers initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough screening and interviewing processes to assess candidates’ technical and interpersonal qualifications.
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare providers and internal teams to understand staffing needs and craft targeted recruitment strategies.
  • Maintain and update candidate databases using applicant tracking systems (ATS), ensuring data accuracy and compliance.
  • Build and nurture strong candidate relationships, providing timely communication and exceptional candidate experience throughout the recruitment lifecycle.
  • Analyze recruitment metrics and provide insights to optimize healthcare workforce acquisition under WorkVella’s strategic goals.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in healthcare recruitment or talent acquisition, preferably within Canadian healthcare recruitment standards and regulations.
  • Proficiency with ATS software and recruitment technology platforms.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with strong interpersonal abilities to engage diverse healthcare professionals.
  • Empathy and a genuine commitment to creating positive candidate experiences aligned with WorkVella’s values.
  • Knowledge of healthcare industry terminology and workforce challenges is highly advantageous.
