Responsibilities of the Technical Writer Freelance Role

- Manage documentation workflows and version control using tools such as Markdown and Confluence, ensuring smooth coordination and timely delivery of projects.
Qualifications & Skills Required
- Proven experience as a technical writer, preferably in freelance or remote roles, with a strong portfolio demonstrating writing proficiency and editing skills.
- Working knowledge of technical documentation tools and markup languages such as Markdown and Confluence; familiarity with additional content management systems is a plus.
- Solid understanding of technology concepts, software development lifecycles, and the ability to interpret technical jargon to craft accessible content for varied readers.
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Canadian-based freelancers preferred, with reliable internet connectivity and ability to communicate effectively within cross-functional remote teams.
