Responsibilities
- Evaluate and investigate insurance claims remotely, analyzing damage reports, policy coverage, and client information to determine claim validity.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, policyholders, and other stakeholders via phone, email, and virtual meetings to gather information or provide claim updates.
- Process and document claims using claims management systems and other relevant software while adhering to regulatory and company compliance standards.
- Negotiate settlements and coordinate with legal representatives when necessary to ensure fair claim resolution aligned with company policies.
- Maintain detailed records of claims, decisions, and correspondence to support audit readiness and facilitate smooth claims management processes.
Qualifications & Skills
- Proven experience of at least 2 years as a Claims Adjuster or in insurance claims processing, preferably in a remote or hybrid setting.
- Relevant certifications such as CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) or equivalent accreditation are highly preferred.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills essential for effective client interaction and conflict resolution.
- Proficiency with claims management systems, MS Office Suite, and other insurance software tools to efficiently document and analyze claims.
- Exceptional problem-solving ability and attention to detail to assess claims thoroughly and fairly.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management skills, able to work independently in a virtual workspace.
